Click cell A13
Highlight the
data range A13 through F13.

    You can do this by dragging your mouse "plus" cursor from A13 to F13.

Click Format, Cells on the menu bar


    Excel displays the "Format Cells" window.

Click the Borders Tab


    Note that the upper and lower border buttons are recessed or active.

Click the upper and lower border buttons.


    Excel turns off the upper and lower purple borders on the highlighted cells.

Click
Click> cell G8 to deselect the highlighted cells.

Your spreadsheet should look like the one below.
